When company founder Ludwig Bening passed away in 1968, the then 27-year-old mechanical engineer took charge of the company’s future. With courage, foresight, and technical expertise, Egon Schumacher set the course for a successful future. Under his leadership, LUBING focused on innovative solutions for animal husbandry, developed new products, and continuously expanded its production capacities. At the same time, he drove the company’s internationalization, thereby laying the foundation for LUBING’s global presence today.

For over 38 years, Egon Schumacher led the company as managing director and shaped LUBING into an internationally recognized provider of drinking, feeding, and climate control systems for modern animal husbandry. His actions were always characterized by innovative spirit, a commitment to quality, and a clear vision for sustainable growth.
