It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Mr. Werner Thur.

Mr. Thur, former partner of LUBING Maschinenfabrik, shaped the company over many years with his entrepreneurial vision, sense of responsibility, and personal commitment. His work was always characterized by reliability, integrity, and a deep connection to employees, partners, and the entire company family. After establishing the first foreign representative office for LUBING in France in 1971, LUBING Int. SARL was founded in 1974. When the sole proprietorship LUBING was renamed GmbH & Co. KG in 1977, Mr. Thur became a co-partner.

As a partner, he understood how to combine tradition and innovation and provided important impetus for the sustainable development of LUBING Maschinenfabrik until his retirement. His advice was valued and his word carried weight.

With Mr. Thur’s passing, we have lost a formative personality, a valued companion, and a person who has left a lasting mark. We will honor his memory.
