The great advantage of this new development is that the eggs do not have to be transferred to another conveyor chain for vertical conveying.
The tab elements of the conveyor chain of the vertical conveyor slide into the conveyor chain from below shortly before vertical conveying. The eggs are slowly and carefully pushed into a position for safe vertical conveying. In the radius, the weight of the eggs shifts from the bars of the conveyor chain to the attachment element. In this position, the vertical conveyor is passed through.
In the second radius, the weight of the eggs is shifted from the attachment element back onto the bars of the conveyor chain. The attachment elements are then slowly pulled downwards out of the chain and the eggs are placed back onto the bars of the conveyor chain in a stable position.
The chain with the tab elements does not require its own drive, as it is pulled along with the conveyor chain.
